I’m the Voice (You Never Listen To)” 2017, ses jaar later en haar vierde album “I’m the Voice” word vrygestel.

Caroline has many years of experience on stages of all size. With her unique easy-on-the-ear voice and her guitar, she fits in at any level of performance. With thousands of shows behind her, she has developed her craft to an art-form.

Caroline sings various genres of music, from pop, country, country gospel to rock, English and Afrikaans. Singing her own originals as well as covers of songs from around the world, and within our own Country.

She is comfortable delivering in her own unique style, music from Shania Twain, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence, ABBA, Don Williams, Johnny Cash, Roxette (to name a few)and numerous local musicians, choosing from a list of around 320+ songs

With years of experience, she can operate as a Master of Ceremonies, solo act, with a band, as opener for headliner. Nothing is too big or small for Caroline.

And all this, and more, from an national award winning musician at rates that do not stress the budget.

Caroline has been active as a professional musician for more than 17 years, having paid her dues and walked the road all musicians must walk. Singing from an age of 8 years, her first professional appearance was in 2002 at the Zillertal Restaurant, a venue whose name was synonymous with great live music. The audience reaction was such that Caroline became a regular artist on stage at the Zillertal.

Spreading her wings to other venues, and honing her vocal abilities at a vocal training school, Caroline released her first album, a self funded indie production, “Eiland van Drome”. The album sold very well at her live shows, and like many independent albums, did not have a distributor, so it did not appear in retail music outlets.

In 2005, Caroline entered the Afrikaans Idols. Out of 22000 entrants, she found herself in the Top 50 finalists. She also entered Supersterre in 2004 and 2006, both times finishing in the Top 100 finalists.

In 2008 Caroline signed with Sting Records, and released the album “Neusie Verby”. This album, still has tracks played on radio around Southern Africa and has sold over 8500 copies.

“Neusie Verby” saw Caroline, nominated in the Best Female Vocalist catergory at the Vonk/Rapport Awards in 2008, as well as the Best Female Contemporary Album. It was an indication of how far Caroline had progressed, to be nominated with other singers such as Juanita du Plessis, Nadine, Nianell, Rina Hugo, Patricia Lewis and Jennifer Zamudio.

In 2011 Caroline released her final album with Sting records, titled, Hoor Hoe Sing My Hart.

Caroline has appeared numerous times on DKNT, KYKnet and Jukebox, and her music is currently played on over 20 FM radio stations around South Africa, however her passion is the live stage performances.

In 2017, Caroline released an indie album of Country and Country Gospel music. Titled “I’m the Voice (you never listen to)”, produced by Andre Hartman, Caroline had top musicians Mauritz Lotz en Jethro Butow on guitars, and Sez Adamson op pedal steel guitar backing her in this album. The album has sold over 2000 copies at Carolines live shows, and in 2018 was nominated in two categories by the South African Country Music Artist Foundation. Caroline won both Best Female Vocalist of the Year, and Best Music Video of the Year.
